Francia Raisa

Raisa's acting experience began during junior high when she began modeling and appearing in commercials. Her appearances on the sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa appeared in Lil' Romeo's music clip "My Girlfriend" in the role of Tamy in 2004 and in the music video for Iyaz's "So Huge". One month into her senior school year, she landed her first leading role alongside Hayden Panetteire on Bring It On : All or Nothing. The actress also appeared in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she as Isabel, and in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream as well as The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. From July 2008 through the final episode of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager which ended in June of 2013, she played the character Adrian Lee. In 2009 Raisa was co-starring as Boo in the short film Boo directed by David Henrie in addition to guest-starring on USA Network TV's In Plain Sight. The year 2013 saw Raisa was a part of the holiday-themed film Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. Between 2018 and 2022, Raisa was a part of the Freeform show Grown-ish. It was produced by Blackish's creator Kenya Barris. The actress was on the show for the initial four seasons, but left after the departure of her character towards the end of the fourth season. Other credits include The Freeform channel's Life-Size 2 television movie, featuring Tyra banks. In May 2021, Raisa was invited to appear in the How I Met Your Mom's spinoff series How I Met Your Father It was launched on Hulu on the 18th of January, 2022.
